Leominster Credit Union presented Habitat for Humanity, MetroWest/Greater Worcester with a check for $400.00 from the donations collected at the fall Shred-A-Thon held at its 910 West Boylston Street, Worcester, MA branch.
The Shred-A-Thon was free to members and non-members with donations being accepted for Habitat for Humanity. Many generous members and non-members stopped by to have their sensitive documents shred on site by the secure shredding service, Northeast Data Shredding. “The Shred-A-Thons are a great event and a win-win for everyone,” commented John O’Brien, President and CEO. “We are helping to prevent identity theft by securely shredding confidential documents; we’re recycling which is good for the environment and with the generous contributions able to make a contribution to a great organization.”
